Paladin Healthcare has appointed Barry Wolfman has been appointed president of Paladin Healthcare Management, effective July 1 2016.
Wolfman joins from the George Washington University Hospital in Washington DC, where he served as chief executive officer and managing director. Here he led an expansion-of-services initiative to meet the needs of the community.
He will be responsible for enhancing Paladin Healthcare’s ability to manage and own hospitals in under-represented and disadvantaged communities nationwide.
Wolfman has 30 years of experience in healthcare management, and before working at George Washington University Hospital, he worked for Providence Health & Services, where he served as chief executive at Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, California.
Prior to that, Wolfman served a dual role as senior vice president and executive director for two Southern California Kaiser Permanente communities, where he was responsible for partnering with the Permanente Medical Groups to oversee the care of more than 400,000 members. Wolfman also worked in various capacities with Tenet Healthcare for more than 20 years.
