Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield in Missouri appoints new president

Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield has appointed Amadou Yattassaye as president in Missouri.

Steve Martenet, the former leader of Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield in Missouri, was recently named president of Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield in Ohio.

Yattassaye joined Anthem in 2011 as vice president, Audit/Ethics, serving as Anthem’s chief compliance officer. In 2013, he assumed the role of vice president and chief operating officer of Empire BlueCross BlueShield, where he oversaw several aspects of the local business and operations for New York including the state’s Individual business.

Prior to joining Anthem, Yattassaye was a senior manager at Ernst & Young for seven years where he had profit and loss responsibility, management oversight, customer interface and management, along with marketing and business development.
