Berkshire Hathaway hires healthcare specialist


Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance has appointed Stephen Dunn as vice president, Healthcare Professional Liability. He joins from CAN and will be based in New York.

Dunn joins BHSI with more than two decades in the healthcare insurance industry. Most recently he served as assistant vice president and Hospital Industry leader at CNA where he focused on allied facilities, physician groups and hospitals.

Prior to this, he held various healthcare underwriting positions at Zurich, AIG and Medical Liability Mutual Insurance Company. He was also a healthcare broker at Willis, where he advised hospital and allied customers.
