Former risk manager Christine Sangalli has been promoted to the new position of vice president, chief compliance officer for the Bronson Healthcare system.

Sangalli will be responsible for overseeing ethical and legal standards and ensuring corporate compliance at all Bronson entities and will work closely with the Bronson Board of Directors Audit and Compliance Committee.

Most recently, she served as director of risk management, responsible for patient safety and privacy; risk prevention and education; laws and regulations that impact patient care services and promoting a safe working environment.

Sangalli earned her master’s degree in nursing administration from Andrews University, and a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Nazareth College.

“Chris started her career at Bronson as a staff nurse in 1978, and has subsequently proven herself in a variety of leadership roles. We are confident she will provide excellent oversight of Bronson’s already well-established culture of high ethical standards and corporate compliance,” said John Hayden, senior vice president and chief human resources officer for Bronson Healthcare.
