CAPG, a physician organizations association, has appointed Cassidy Tsay, medical doctor, as vice president of business development.

Tsay will oversee recruiting of new physician organization members that are working in or moving towards value-based payment models.

Most recently, Tsay worked at Blue Shield of California, where she served as its regional medical director. Prior to that she spent four years with Nautilus Healthcare Management Group, where she worked as medical director for Greater Newport Physicians and managed over 170 primary care providers.

Tsay has seven years as an office and hospital-based physician with Kaiser Permanente as well as three years of practice with Bristol Park Medical Group.

“We’re delighted to welcome Dr. Tsay. She is a great asset for CAPG, and we look forward to a stronger team with her on board,” said Don Crane, CAPG’s President and CEO.

Tsay said: “I’m excited about the opportunity to join CAPG at this critical time in the healthcare profession. Don Crane and the CAPG staff are making great strides in improving the quality and cost-effectiveness of American healthcare and I’m gratified to become part of the team.”
