Sullivan has over 30 years of experience in healthcare and has served as strategic medical director for one of the country's largest skilled nursing facility chains. He has also held key leadership roles in several Medicare Advantage plans and has worked extensively in the fields of liability insurance, clinical software technology, and global healthcare manufacturing.

Sullivan served as chairman of the Colorado Board of Health and has extensive experience in public health and the post-acute care industry.

"We are elated to have Dr. Sullivan on board, as we are currently rolling out our latest CareRise Index offering to providers and organizations nationwide," said Tim Goux, founder of CareRise. "Education and 'getting our message out' is a key element in our ongoing mission. Dr. Sullivan's vast experience, knowledge and genuine passion and enthusiasm for our industry fits right in with me personally and our company."

Sullivan commented: "I am excited to be a part of CareRise, a patient-centered organization that is using technology to drive innovative solutions in the areas of quality, performance improvement, and risk reductions.

"Risk management is critical in an industry as heavily scrutinized as (PAC)/post-acute care; the CareRise service platform combines the best of professional nursing consultation and the latest technology in order to drive superior outcomes for both the patient and business. In an increasingly consumer-driven industry, online real-time tools like CareRise Index are essential for patients and families to be able to shop around in order to make the best informed decisions about the healthcare they will purchase."
