Carlyle Senior Care Management Company (Carlyle) has selected American HealthTech (AHT), a provider of electronic health records for the post-acute and senior living markets, for its suite of information technology products and services.
Solutions AHT will develop for Carlyle include a clinical management suite, a resident accounting suite, a financial accounting suite, interface technology with existing systems and web-based document management. Carlyle operates facilities in six communities in South Carolina.
"We are in the midst of a major technology upgrade to coordinate both care and financial management of our system,” said Braxton Barnette, vice president/chief financial officer of Carlyle.
“We chose AHT for two important reasons – their superior set of solutions on both the clinical and financial sides of our organization and their partnership approach to doing business. We're excited to implement this set of AHT technology solutions that will move our organization forward in terms of patient/resident care, efficiency and financial performance."
