Cigna Corporation has revealed the enterprise leadership team for the combined Cigna and Express Scripts Holding Company business following the closure of their merger transaction.
David Cordani will serve as president and chief executive officer of the combined company. Express Scripts president and chief executive officer Tim Wentworth will head the health services business as president, Express Scripts and Cigna Services.
Other senior appointments include Eric Palmer as chief financial officer, Jason Sadler as president of international markets, Michael Triplett as president of US commercial business, Brian Evanko as president of US government business, Mark Boxer as chief information officer, Matthew Manders as president of strategy & solutions, Lisa Bacus as chief marketing officer, Nicole Jones as general counsel, Steven Miller as chief clinical officer, and John Murabito as chief human resources officer.
Cigna said the combined company will offer a commercial business including employer-sponsored medical coverage; a government business including Medicare offerings to seniors; an international business including global supplemental benefits, and a health services business including Express Scripts.
The transaction is expected to close by year-end 2018.
