ClearDATA, a provider of cloud computing and information security for healthcare providers, has appointed veteran cloud computing executive Steve Crusenberry as senior vice president (SVP) of products.
Most recently, Crusenberry served as SVP, products and engineering for Rackspace where he managed the hybrid, public and private cloud products.
Crusenberry will chart a strategic vision for ClearDATA's secure cloud platform to deliver technologies for the healthcare industry.
He brings more than 20 years of infrastructure and cloud computing-specific executive experience in IT, engineering and operations to ClearDATA.
"Steve is one of the cloud industry's foremost experts on product development and strategy for innovative, enterprise-scale managed services," said Matt Ferrari, chief technology officer, ClearDATA.
"His talents are a huge win for our customers and will contribute considerably to ClearDATA's mission to modernize the healthcare IT infrastructure."
As a healthcare-exclusive multi-cloud services provider, ClearDATA secures and manages data belonging to healthcare-related organizations in a HIPAA-compliant, HITRUST CSF-certified environment, 100 percent purpose-built for healthcare.
ClearDATA also offers additional data management services to facilitate healthcare big data initiatives and enables interoperability without sacrificing security.
"I firmly believe in ClearDATA's vision for making healthcare healthier every single day," said Crusenberry. "I'm excited to join our mission to first fix the universally fragmented and broken health IT infrastructure, then enhance privacy and security to protect patient health information, and ultimately break down siloes to enable true data exchange."
