Dr Henriette Coetzer has joined RowdMap as chief clinical risk officer to help health plans and physicians transition to pay-for-value arrangements.
According to RowdMap, Coetzer is a world leader in using public health data to create transparency and transform healthcare practices and policies creating interventions.
RowdMap works with health plans, hospitals and groups of physicians to profile unnecessary spend and no value care in their populations and within their networks of physicians, then matches this to the best risk arrangements and pay-for-value programs for their populations and performance.
The work Dr Coetzer is doing on clinical risk is crucial to RowdMap’s mission:

Perhaps best known for her pioneering work on the Dartmouth Atlas of Unwarranted Variation at BUPA (British United Provident Association) and Health Dialog where she served as vice president of Clinical Analytics, Coetzer has served as global medical director at Towers Watson and product development at Healthways.
She is a director of clinical transformation for the National Health Service (NHS) in the UK at a Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), the Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs) of the UK. She also practices as an urgent care physician.
Coetzer joined RowdMap’s board of advisers in 2014 and will continue in that position as she now takes on the office of chief clinical risk officer where she is responsible for bringing together clinical practice and economic drivers and impact both at an individual physician level as well as across an ecosystem.
