A national conference organized by non-profit patient care improvement organization ECRI Institute and the National Cancer Institutewill explore explore the complexities of cancer care delivery this month.
Cancer Care Delivery in a Rapidly Changing Healthcare System, ECRI Institute’s 22nd annual conference on the use of evidence in policy and practice, is being held November 17-18, 2015, at the Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington, DC. It is a free public service event.
More than 30 of the nation’s leading experts from across the spectrum of health system CEOs, public and private payers, researchers, quality experts, patient representatives, regulators, and others are volunteering their time to address critical issues.
The nine plenary sessions will address questions such as whether the technologies for precision medicine are proving to be more effective than the alternatives; whether some health systems are already patient-centered, and productively seeking to create services that patients want and feel they need; and whether quality is being provided and measured to encompass the continuum of care.
