Constellation, the parent company of MMIC Insurance, UMIA Insurance and Arkansas Mutual Insurance Company, is now soliciting applications for its grant-giving programs.
Two of the grant programs offer monetary support to organizations insured by a Constellation company, the third category does not require an applicant to be an insured.
The program targets applicants who champion patient safety and provider well-being, support physicians and other executives to further leadership education, or that launch patient safety research projects.
In short, they are designed to support the Triple Aim, central to Constellation’s mission. The Triple Aim is a three-pronged approach to improving the health of a population; enhancing the patient care experience; and reducing the per capita cost of care.
The following types of grants are available: healthcare leadership grants (scholarship grants for physicians and other health care leaders who seek further leadership training); patient safety research grants, providing support for research in areas that will improve patient safety and improve priority areas of risk; and organization grants, providing support for organizations and associations that champion patient safety and provider well-being.
