Florida Hospital Fish Memorial appoints risk expert

Florida Hospital Fish Memorial has appointed Kimberly Williams as its assistant director of patient safety and risk management.

In this new role, Williams will be responsible for incorporating patient safety initiatives with oversight of the physician peer review process, patient safety organization and the risk management program.

Williams has been with Florida Hospital for 20 years and has served as administrative director of risk management for the eight Florida Hospital campuses in Orlando. She has also served the organization as director of nursing and physician education/program manager for the redesign of the physician and allied health professional credentialing process.

Williams, a Sorrento resident, is a registered nurse, with a Bachelor of Science in nursing. She is also a licensed healthcare risk manager.
