HealthLevel has expanded its leadership team by hiring Glenn Keet as president and chief operating officer (COO).
Glenn brings 30 years of experience in health care information technology to HealthLevel, a cloud provider of real time analytics solutions serving hospitals and health care institutions. This addition to the executive team coincides with the commercialization kickoff of its Foundation platform.
Glenn was most recently CEO of Clinovo, a SaaS provider of data capture and informatics tools to the clinical trial industry.
Prior to that, he spearheaded business development for Optum's Health Care Cloud, focusing on cultivating the ecosystem of providers, developers, and consumers. Glenn became part of Optum with its acquisition of Axolotl, which he co-founded in 1995. Axolotl was a pioneer of SaaS and cloud software for the distribution, exchange, and management of patient health information by healthcare professionals, and in so doing established the commercial health information exchange industry.
Foundations from HealthLevel has been used and evolved over time in the Veterans Healthcare system as well commercial and academic healthcare systems. Foundations as an analytics platform and its applications have improved efficiency and performance for all its customers.
"This is an exciting time for HealthLevel," said Parag Paranjpe, founder and CEO. "Glenn's exceptional leadership, knowledge and experience in growing healthcare information technology businesses is a perfect fit for the company growth."
