Humana has collaborated with Tacoma-based CHI Franciscan Health on a value-based care model, giving its medicare advantage plan members access to CHI's network in Washington.
In addition to offering patient services, the collaboration will focus on improving specific health metrics in Washington that are associated with high-quality care, the company said.
"We are looking forward to expanding value-based care for our Medicare Advantage members in Washington by teaming up with CHI Franciscan Health," said Catherine Field, Intermountain Region president for Humana’s senior products. "By integrating CHI Franciscan Health’s care delivery with Humana’s reporting tools and analytics, our goal is to provide our members with high-quality care that will help them get and stay on the path to good health."
As part of the agreement, CHI physicians will have access to new tools, real-time data and access to care support to maximize time spent with their patients covered by Humana medicare advantage.
