IDentity Theft 911 appoints board member

21-11-2013

IDentity Theft 911, a provider of identity management and data risk management services, has appointed director William (Bill) Tait as the company’s newest board member.

Tait currently holds the position of corporate vice president of strategic partnerships at health and well-being company Humana. He joins current board members Dr Herb Pardes, Dr David Cohen, and long-time chairman and co-founder of IDentity Theft 911 and Credit.com Adam Levin. Together, the directors provide knowledge and guidance about the intersection of healthcare, credit, identity theft, and education.

“I am proud to join the IDentity Theft 911 board and use my background in healthcare and strategic partnerships to increase the breadth and depth of both businesses,” said Tait.

“Organizations, and specifically healthcare, face a range of challenges, including the Affordable Healthcare Act, the HITECH Act, HIPAA rules, mandated electronic health record guidelines and privacy and security compliance regulations. It’s important that these institutions realize the mass amounts of data they are responsible for and learn how to protect it before it’s too late.”
