International insurance brokerage and risk management firm Integro has appointed Kareen Richardson as healthcare placement manager at Integro (Bermuda) in Hamilton.

Richardson brings more than a decade’s experience in healthcare professional liability to Integro.  Her expertise includes providing third party excess liability coverage to university teaching facilities, large integrated delivery systems, specialty pediatric hospitals, and a variety of other clients with healthcare risk.

“Kareen’s impressive healthcare experience complements Integro’s rapidly growing healthcare practice here in Bermuda and internationally,” said Michael Fisher, Integro’s Bermuda operations leader. “She is a valuable addition to the team and we welcome her aboard.”

Richardson comes to Integro from Endurance, which she joined in 2002 and where she rose to assistant vice president in the healthcare department handling all stages of the underwriting process including marketing, risk analysis and contract negotiation. Earlier, she worked in the Excess Casualty department at XL Insurance Ltd. Richardson is a graduate of Bermuda College.
