Konnarock Healthcare, a management consulting and professional services firm has announced the implementation of its solution Risk Manager at Mount Sinai Beth Israel Hospital in New York City.
To ensure the solution best fits the needs of Mount Sinai Beth Israel Hospital's team environment, Konnarock Healthcare has partnered with the clinical team and conducted an in-depth assessment to understand the opportunities to enhance and strengthen nursing workflows.
The solution was successfully piloted and published in the December 2015 Institute for Healthcare Improvement conference.
“As a major New York hospital, we are extremely focused on patient-centered care and providing our nurses with the most innovative cutting edge solutions is one of the ways we deliver on this mission,” said Diana Raymond, assistant director, nursing quality initiatives at Mount Sinai Beth Israel Hospital.
“We understand the importance of providing our clinicians with the right technology so they can better focus on patient care.”
She added: “When Konnarock Healthcare presented an opportunity for our team to integrate our current electronic health record with their nurse focused tool we knew this would increase timely best practice care and improve our patients’ experience.”
“Instead of a time consuming Easter egg hunt in the medical record, our nurses can leverage a single view of the nurse centered high impact care items ready for immediate intervention. This is proven to improve care and save lives.”
Raymond also said that the application allows Mount Sinai Beth Israel Hospital to further improve its clinical workflow and provide a better patient experience.”
