Healthcare company LifePoint Health has completed its merger with RCCH HealthCare Partners, which is owned by certain funds managed by affiliates of Apollo Global Management.
The combined, privately held company will operate under the LifePoint Health name and include a footprint of regional health systems, physician practices, outpatient centers, and post-acute facilities in more than 85 non-urban communities.
David Dill has been appointed new CEO of LifePoint. Other executive team members that will lead the combined entity include - Michael Coggin as chief financial officer (CFO), John Bumpus as executive vice president (EVP) of administration, Victor Giovanetti as EVP of hospital operations, Rob Jayas EVP of integrated operations, and Jennifer Peters as general counsel.
Former LifePoint Health chairman and CEO William Carpenter III, and former RCCH HealthCare Partners CEO Marty Rash will remain engaged in the organization as members of the board of directors of LifePoint.
As a result of the merger, LifePoint’s common stock will no longer trade on NASDAQ.
LifePoint said that though its headquarters will remain in Brentwood, Tennessee, it will maintain both organizations’ existing strategic partnerships.
