More than 600 organizations have deployed risk-aware identity and access management solutions provider Courion’s identity and access management (IAM) solutions.
Courion said that organizations from a wide variety of industries, such as government, healthcare, manufacturing and retail, have purchased the company's IAM solutions, including the Access Assurance Suite, in the third quarter of 2014.
Organizations joining Courion's customer roster in the third quarter include Eastman Chemical Company, a global specialty chemical manufacturer; a beauty retailer with more than 350 stores across North America; and a government organization tasked with initiating, driving and supporting a Middle Eastern country's urban development strategy. Healthcare organizations serving consumers in the southeastern United States, including Cape Fear Valley Healthcare System, the DCH Health System and Memorial University Medical Center, also became Courion customers.
The company was recently recognized by KuppingerCole, a global analyst company focusing on information security, as a leader in its 2014 Leadership Compass for Access Governance. It was also recognized earlier this year as a leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) and as a leader in the KuppingerCole Leadership Compass for Identity Provisioning.
"Our growth in the last quarter is affirmation that organizations in a wide variety of industries are looking for an identity and access management solution that can help them improve the efficiency and effectiveness of their provisioning and governance operations while also reducing access-related risk," said Chris Zannetos, chief executive officer of Courion Corporation. "Savvy CISOs are increasingly recognizing the value of having advanced access intelligence capabilities integrated with their IAM solution."
