Priority Health is introducing a narrow network health insurance option for Southwest Michigan giving individuals an option to reduce their health care costs while receiving high quality care within the Bronson Healthcare system.

The Priority Health plan called Bronson Healthcare Partners will be offered to individuals in Kalamazoo County and areas of Calhoun and Van Buren counties.

The new plan provides consumers access to quality care at a 20 percent lower cost than the Michigan average, according to a press release. It also provides access to the Bronson Healthcare system of hospitals and physicians.

“We are proud to offer Southwest Michigan residents a health plan that has remarkable value at an affordable price,” said Marti Lolli, senior vice president of commercial markets for Priority Health.

“We’ve seen tremendous success with our narrow network plan in Kent County, and we anticipate the same positive response from those in the Southwest community.”

Priority Health is offering the Bronson Healthcare Partners plan with a range of health plan options, from holistic care, (a health plan that offers coverage for non-traditional medicine like acupuncture), to high deductible health plans, allowing consumers to choose which plan is right for them.
