Quality focus at 2014 Compliance Institute

13-02-2014

The quality of care delivered to patients by healthcare providers is increasingly connected with regulatory compliance. To aid health care compliance professionals with this compliance challenge, the Health Care Compliance Association's 18th Annual Compliance Institute is offering a Quality of Care educational track.

The Quality of Care educational track features nine sessions and 18 speakers held over three days, from Sunday, March 30 through Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at the Manchester Grand Hyatt in San Diego.

The sessions cover topics such as discharge planning in today's regulatory environment; coordination of quality of care and compliance across institutions; care management; ensuring level of care orders in EHRs; how to integrate quality into your compliance program; and clinical documentation and ICD-10.

HCCA's 2014 Compliance Institute is a four-day conference with 146 sessions, nine learning tracks, and 231 speakers. It aims to immerse approximately 2,000 conference attendees in the world of governance, regulatory risk, and compliance obligations health care compliance professionals face daily.
