Quantros, a provider of safety, quality and clinical business solutions, has unveiled its new safety advancement technology at the American Society of Healthcare Risk Management (ASHRM) Annual Conference.
Its end-to-end suite of solutions includes: QPrecision, Smart Classification, and their newest solution Safety Surveillance UB.
QPrecision, the newest release of Safety Event Manager, features patent-pending Smart Classification, which allows event reporters to classify events faster and more precisely. This technology leverages Quantros' unique database of more than four million standardized safety events to suggest likely event types based on an automated analysis of the narrative description.
Quantros' Safety Surveillance UB solution identifies critical safety and quality indicators that are often not captured through voluntary reporting through surveillance of hospital billing data coupled with the ability to move identified safety events into Safety Event Manager at the push of a button.
"With Quantros, there is a consistency in the way we look at patient safety," said Quantros chief executive officer, Annie Callanan. "Over the last ten years, we have grown our incident reporting technology and solutions across the continuum of care to meet the needs of thousands of healthcare organizations with the ultimate goal of providing meaningful data to enable providers to reduce adverse events and near misses."
