Medical technology company RightCare has been selected by the Greater Philadelphia Alliance for Capital and Technologies (PACT) as the recipient of the 21st Annual PACT Enterprise Award for the category “Game Changing Healthcare Company.”

The award is given to rapidly growing companies that provide an innovative solution that has the potential to make a large and positive impact on cost, quality and access in healthcare, while demonstrating a valuable return on investment.

RightCare is a medical technology company located in Horsham, Pennsylvania, that provides hospitals and health systems with a comprehensive, end-to-end software application comprised of three modules—RightCare risk assessment, RightCare coordination central, and RightCare post care connect—designed to assess patient risk at the time of admission, ensure the appropriate care plan is offered, and seamlessly transition patient information to post-acute care providers.

RightCare’s software, based on 10 years of academic and clinical research, has been proven to reduce readmission rates by as much as 35 percent.

“We are so honored that PACT has selected RightCare as the recipient of this award. Philadelphia is an established hub of healthcare and medical technology companies, and to be recognized among so many is extremely humbling,” said Eric Heil, co-founder, president and chief executive officer of RightCare.

“Our mission has always been to deliver a technology solution that helps streamline the continuum of care while helping providers deliver the right care with better outcomes for patients. This recognition highlights that our software solution does help improve quality and reduce healthcare costs on a national scale.”

Dianne Strunk, vice president of PACT, said: “We are pleased to present this award to RightCare. In just a few short years, this company has greatly impacted the healthcare industry, and is helping hospitals and health providers across the country address some of their most pressing and costly issues. We were very impressed with this company and can’t wait to see what’s in store for them in the future.”
