Risk International boosts benefits advisory services

Outsourced risk management provider Risk International has appointed Mark Freiman as a senior consultant.

He will contribute his nearly 20 years of group benefits consulting experiences to its newly launched benefits advisory services.

Freiman served previously as assistant director of pricing analytics for the Cleveland Clinic, where he provided actuarial and financial support to the 70,000 member employee health plan. He served as the in-house expert on the Affordable Care Act and led the analytics team in modeling the impact of the Health Insurance Exchanges on hospital revenue.

"Mark's depth of knowledge of risk mitigation in benefits and ability to develop solutions to reduce health care expenses gives added firepower to our outsourced services and benefits solutions," said Eric Krieg, managing director, Risk International Benefits. "His proven team leadership and deep analytical skill set complement our benefits risk mitigation expertise that is providing the market changes our clients have been demanding."
