United Insurance Group Agency (UIG) has hired Graham Smith as vice president, brokerage. Smith will manage all aspects of UIG’s national brokerage distribution channel.
Smith, a licensed accident and health agent, has held leadership positions in sales and marketing for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, HealthPlus and Health Alliance Plan (HAP) and previously worked for UIG.
Smith is a graduate of Purdue University School of Technology and earned his MBA from Oakland University.
“Graham Smith’s experience and relationships with the agent community will greatly benefit UIG’s brokerage operations.
