Willis Towers Watson appoints new health care leader

Broker Willis Towers Watson has hired Jerry Konal as a senior consultant in its health and benefits business.
In his new role, Konal will work with clients to help manage and consult on all facets of health care service delivery across Michigan and northern Ohio.
Prior to joining Willis Towers Watson, Konal was the Michigan health and benefits practice leader at Mercer, providing strategic consultation and support to a cross section of industry clients.
Before that, he served as the executive director of benefits for Trinity Health and was responsible for directing benefit program/plan design and development, strategic planning, vendor management, quality assurance and metrics, and contract negotiations.
